Photo exhibition

These days, till November 1st, there is a photo exhibition taking place in Athens, organized by the "Diafragma 26" team. Among the exhibited photos are some by yours trully, taken during two workshops by the team. Since an album was also printed, I can now call myself "a published photographer" :)

Inkscape

Inkscape is the most well known and probably the most feauture-rich open source vector graphics editor. It initially came out in 2003 and since then it has evolved to be a very powerful and useful tool. The user interface has some quirks and it definitely is not a program you can learn in one day, but any effort you put in it pays off. I have personally used it to create icons, game graphics and even posters for printing. It is a very flexible program and can even handle multi-page documents, but it is not a replacement for a complete desktop publishing tool.
